Is there a service electric brake system light?
ABS Light, TC Light, Service 4wd light, and Service Electronic Brake System Light. Not having the drive and 3 problem thought. Engine almost stalled when these lights came on. Any help is appreciated. Runs and idles strong now. My Jeep is a 2005 Jeep WK 5.7 Completely stock.
When does service electronic braking system come on?
Thank you. Well I got it about 3 days ago, “Service Electronic Braking System” on the heads up display, as well as the illumination of the ABS light and traction light. It happens when I start the truck, go fast, slow, hit bumps, go in reverse, sometimes it’ll stay on, sometimes it’ll flicker, and some days it wont come on at all!
Why do I get service 4WD brake warning?
There is a flash for the final drive control module regarding erroneous dtc’s causing the “service 4wd” message, that may be all the problem is with that. As for the grinding when applying the brake, when was the last time the brakes were done?
Why is my service 4WD light not working?
Any advice would be helpful. Grinding noise doesnt sound good…. Your likely going to need to get it into the dealer to find what the service 4wd light is on for. What does a service electric brake system warning mean?
The light is an indicator that something is wrong with the ABS system. Ive had the code pulled and says I have a fault ABS sensor on one of my hubs. Sensor are cheap/easy to replace I’ve just never gotten around to it :/ I mean cars never used to have ABS so I figure I may as well see what the “good ole’ days” were like haha
