Is there a problem with the 911 battery?

A friend of mine got rid of his for this reason alone, other than that he loved the car,but after a week or so (being out of town etc) the battery would be dead and the car would not start of course. Anyone know why these batteries drain so fast , compared to ANY other car ? Cheers Dave…

We do it in this order to minimize the chance of grounding your battery to the car’s frame which could do nasty things to the electronics. There are a lot of electronics in your car, so it’s better to not fry them.
