Is there a problem with my Mercedes convertible top?
Paid $6.00 for a new 30 amp relay from O’Reily and took it home and plugged it in. Turned it on and the roll bar works with no problem. Then tried to operate the top and it worked with no problem!

Can a soft top controller be replaced on a Mercedes?
The soft top controller (N52 ??) is surely an expensive device to replace; and if it, indeed, is directly controlling the pump motor relay — or any other relay (s) — I sure would want to keep it protected.

I just got my 2002 CLK 430 and can’t get the top to go down. I think I messed up as I first tried, the back of the top disengaged and popped up, the metal car portion popped up and it started to retract.
