Can a Nissan Micras have a windscreen leak?

Is the passenger footwell of a Micra K11 wet?
I recently bought my first Micra k11 on a 52 plate and it seemed in brilliant shape however, it rained for the first time since buying it and my passenger footwell was wet (Luckily had mats in!).
