Is the rear view camera on a Mercedes CLA?
CLA rear view camera does not have a lid that needs to be opened in roder to function. Or is this a troll again?!?!?!? Click to expand… Mine is similar to that (factory) and you only only the little panel from the center screen menu.

What kind of camera problem does ML350 4Matic have?
My 2009 ML350 4matic periodically has this exact problem. Sometimes the black screen, other times the very saturated color screen. I have noticed that many times (not always) I can open the back hatch, forcefully slam it shut and then the camera output to my Command works fine.
