Does Wahoo work with tacx?
Wahoo ELEMNT bike computers supports any ANT+ FE-C trainer. So by default, it will work with the KICKR but also can work with trainers from Tacx, Elite, Kinetic, CycleOps, Minoura, and more.

Wahoo say they’re not compatible with non Wahoo trainers, and I’ve read elsewhere that this is due the bike not pivoting freely on the skewer and so there’s a risk of damaging your drop outs. With my Tacx Neo 2, if I lift the front end of the bike, it pivots smoothly.
Does tacx neo need power?
The Neo 2T works without power. Its internal battery does everything needed to allow the trainer to work without a power source. When using Zwift, or the Tacx app, the magnets in the drive mechanism can mimic riding on both cobbles and gravel.
What is the difference between tacx Neo 2 and Neo 2T?
Compared to the Tacx NEO 2, the NEO 2T is even quieter, you get a more realistic bike feel, pedal stroke analysis and improved axle compatibility. The Neo 2T Smart accurately measures the position and power output of your left and right legs. Adapter is required for 135×10 sized through axles. This is not included.
