Is Strive for college free?
Strive for College is a non-profit organization that connects aspiring college students with free, one- on-one, online mentoring via the virtual platform, UStrive. Strive mentors can help you through the entire college admissions, financial aid and scholarship application processes.

What GPA do you send to colleges?
Smaller universities are likely to view a 3.0 average as the baseline for first round applicant choices, with students who have grade point averages between a 2.5 or higher also being likely to gain acceptance. Other universities might only require a 2.0, and that is also typically the standard for most colleges.
Should I include class rank on Common App?
If your school calculates both weighted and unweighted Class Rank/GPA, report the weighted value. If your school does not calculate a cumulative numerical GPA, or if it uses a GPA scale that is different than the options available in the drop down menu, leave the Cumulative GPA field blank.

A 4.4 weighted GPA most likely means that you’ve been earning mostly B+s in high level classes. You’ll have a good shot at being accepted to most colleges with this GPA.
