Berkeley Springs is a wonderful place to live if you like being away from it all. We live in a remote area, while it may be far from most places it is very peaceful here. The school is excellent at keeping up with what is going on with the students, they call for pretty much everything.

Public swimming is available in the summer at the beach at Cacapon State Park and at the pool in the Berkeley Springs State Park. Lifeguards are posted at both of these parks. Visitors may also swim in the indoor saltwater pool at Coolfont.
