How to tell if your Honda Civic has an AC problem?
When driving it’s cool air. Had a basic AC check and they said it didn’t have a leak or need freon. But was going to charge me 100.00 to tell What’s wrong. have the same problem? Check if the A/C compressor is engaging when vehicle is stopped. Check the cooling fans as well. helpful? Was just told that the AC compressor is working. helpful?
Why does my civic a / C compressor not kick in?
The ground to the AC mag clutch comes through the ground circuit on the blower motor. If you have a faulty ground in the blower motor (often the case on these civics), it will not engage the clutch on your compressor.

Is the AC on my Honda Civic 2007 working?
Here’s my investigation after reading about Civic 2007 electrical circuits, AC, sensors and so forth: All fuses are OK and working. I tested every single one in the AC circuits. The relay that kicks in the compressor/clutch is fine. I tested it outside the car, using power-supply and multimeter.

Why is my AC compressor not clicking on?
Without refrigerant the compressor isn’t getting enough lubrication to run for a long time safely. If the compressor does not click on, then there is a bigger issue, but BY FAR this is the most common issue with automotive AC. Could be low or out of refrigerant from a puncture.
