How to replace the cowl trim on a BMW?
1) Remove the wiper arm assemblies. Before removing the wiper arms take note of how they are positioned on the windshield and against the stops on the cowl trim panel. Using the Non-Marring Pry Tools, pry off the trim caps covering the nuts that secure the wiper arms to the shafts. 2) Remove the nuts using the applicable size socket and ratchet.
Is there a way for my wipers to come off?

Why are the arms of my wipers not holding?
I don’t run my wipers that fast nor often so it is beyond my why the arms aren’t holding. If this continues with a different brand I guess I’ll have to try bending the hook part of the wiper arm to hold more tightly. They ‘snap’ when installed, they just come loose somehow. You didn’t already close up the hook part a bit after the first incident?
