How to get into Arl of Denerim Estate?
Talk to Riordan and don’t forget to give him the documents found in the previous room. Once he’s escaped use a nearby door (M73, 6) to travel to [Denerim – Arl of Denerim’s Estate – Dungeon] (M74, 1). It would be a good idea to save your progress before moving on (a lot of difficult fights ahead!).
Can you escape with Anora?
Choosing to fight Winning is rewarded with The Summer Sword and the freedom to walk out. If the party loses, the Warden (and potentially Alistair) will be captured. Either way, Anora will escape during the chaos and retreat to Arl Eamon’s estate.
Can you defeat Ser Cauthrien?
Fifty traps may be sufficient to kill Ser Cauthrien. As Cauthrien has no elemental resistances, 35-37 of these traps (depending on difficulty settings) should be able to take her down. Alternatively, about 24-25 Large Claw Traps, which deal 150 unresistable damage each, will also get the job done.

She doesn’t betray you, either- not with Cauthrien and not in the Landsmeet. If you tell Cauthrien who you are, Anora is sure that she will be captured again, and won’t be able to save Ferelden from her father’s madness.

Is there an exit to Denerim in Dragon Age?
Unlike other locations, Denerim does not have an exit location. For a period during the Orlesian occupation of Ferelden, the City of Amaranthine was the capital instead of Denerim. Denerim used to be the teyrnir of the King, but it was reduced to an arling, as the King’s domain is all of Ferelden.
