How to change the clutch on a 182?
Remove the 3 16mm bolts on top of the gear box which the mount uses whilst holding the engine/gearbox up with a jack under the sump. Remove the 7 bell housing bolts and lower the engine/gearbox so that the gearbox is pointing towards the ground. Then wiggle and remove. not tested the gears yet but clutch seems to work.
How do you remove the clutch from a Toyota?

What kind of aluminumgear does a Mt 75 gearbox use?
Two-piece die-cast aluminumGear extension is not necessary. The MT 75 transmission consists of two halves, the front transmission housing or clutch housing and the rear gear housing. The drive shaft ball bearings are sealed with an oil seal in the guide sleeve. The thread of the guide sleeve within gear housing is sealed with an O-ring seal.
Where is the shifter located on a MT75 gearbox?
The shifter is a complete unit and in the case of failure must be completely replaced. The shifter is not the usually fixed to the gear extension, but onto the control beam, which is attached to the gear housing. Gears are selected using the shift lever, the outer plate and inner shift shaft.
How are the different types of clutch different?
Clutch: 9 Different Types of Clutches and How they Work The clutch is a mechanical device that specifically engages and disengages the power transmission from the driving shaft to the driven shaft. By Saif M
How does the number of clutch plates affect the transmission?
The number of clutches means more friction surface. The increased number of friction surfaces also increases the capacity of the clutch to transmit torque. The clutch plates are fitted to the engine shaft and gearbox shaft. They are pressed by coil springs and assembled in a drum.
How to re-fit the clutch in a Toyota?
Now re-fitting is just a reversal, get 2 people to lift the gearbox or use an engine hoist/normal jack underneath the gearbox to get it back up into position. Also dont forget to re-fill the gearbox with the correct oil, depending on if you have LSD fitted or not.
How are the springs arranged in a semi centrifugal clutch?
The figure shows a semi-centrifugal clutch. It consists of levers, clutch springs, pressure plate, Friction lining, flywheel and clutch plate. A semi-centrifugal clutch has levers and clutch springs which are arranged equally on the pressure plate. The springs of the clutch are designed to transmit the torque at normal engine speed.
