In googling the internet this problem seems to be quite prevalent with both the Porsche Cayenne and macan. Moreover, the cost replace a transfer case is in the $5,000 when our of warranty which my 2014 is now. Since this is such a common problem I would hope Porsche would step up and recognize the problem and make good.
