I will buy the parts here where I do lots of business and a ful inframe kit is 2500. our shop bills 40 hrs @ $101.00 = $4000. buy genuine cat parts. if you buy aftermarket parts, when it fails and you are doing it again you no longer have acceptable cores for cat. buy a platinum kit and a turbo cat will pay for the 3 year warranty

He has put about 250k on it and has not had any problems at all. Another guy I run with just spent 15k on a c15 inframe and it was a platinum kit and a resurfaced rebuilt head and a couple new injectors. Both done here in new braunfels, or austin cant remember where the high dollar one was done.

I see where Peaystruckshop can do it for $3000. labor which is about right but I bet he ain’t got a $250,000 shop with $50,000 illuminated signs attached, and billing customers for X number of shop supplies that are programmed into the computer and can’t be removed even if they didn’t use them. If you read Sleds post it said $3500.

When it comes to labor warranty most all shops will redo anything they screwed up, but you may be two thousand miles away when it breaks, but as a customer I’ve never been a believer in most of the major labor shops as they will usually weasel out of the warranty, by blaiming the driver or using some other brand filter, oil, etc.
