What is a lot of miles for a RZR?
In general my rule of thumb is 100 hours and 1000 miles for ever year old the machine is. Max for me is like 300 hours and 3000 miles. Unless they can show some significant maintenance and replacement parts have been done.

If there is another thread or sticky or anything, please include the link. I wasn’t able to find one specific to the 800 HO. I have my 2008 Sportsman 800 torn apart for a Fuel Pump replacement and would like to know if there are any other repairs I should perform in the downtime instead of IF they occur later. Here is what I have.

What to do if your Polaris Sportsman overheats?
Check to make sure there are no air bubbles in the coolant. They checked the fan relay sensor and said it was functioning correctly. They replaced the filler neck thinking it was misshapen and causing vapor lock. They completely took apart the water pump to see if the fins were warped (they weren’t). Replaced the thermostat.
