Hi! One of ours 2007 siennas canot open the back door. If you open it from inside handle (the only way)and then closes it it will close but then you canot open it again. Could it be water in the doorhandle switch or were do we start,the dealer have change the lock but no difference,do you need to restart the ecm after changing the lock?

2004 Toyota Sienna xle limited. Consumer writes in regards to problems with doors on vehicle. The consumer stated the rear lift gate was repaired several times. The consumer was informed there was a recall involving a particular part on the vehicle, and she has been having problems ever since.

The rear power door hatch wont stay open in cold weather, it will open and then immediately start to close causing several heads to be hit. This happens everytime it is cold. Also now my remote and the interior button wont open the door at all, it has to be done manually.
