How do you turn off the start/stop on a VW Golf?
Turning off the Volkswagen Start/Stop System To deactivate the system, push the button located to the right of your shifter knob. This button has an “A” in a circle with the words “OFF” below it. When the button is illuminated, that means the system is turned off. To turn it back on, simply push the button again.
