How do you reset the sunroof on a Kia Sportage?
1.Start the engine. 2.Close the sunshade and sunroof completely if opened. 3.Release the sunroof control lever. 4.Push the sunroof control lever forward in the direction of close until the sunshade slightly moves. Then, release the lever.
Why does my Kia sun roof not close?

Thanks Tino. Had a look where you suggested and saw the runners were dry. Sprayed some lithium grease in there and there was immediate improvement. I used my sunroof today for the first time in ages and it was quite slow to open. On closing it went so far then returned to the open position.

Hi, I opened the sunroof for the first time since last summer only to find that when trying to close it starts and then at various different positions stops and reverses to open again. It does seam to be struggling to close as if it needed greasing or something.
