If you give the rubber lugs top and bottom a bit of a tug after you fit the bulb it will ensure the middle of the rubber collar pulls back snug against the bulb holder and keeps it water and dust tight.

Locate headlamp assembly that is defective. Locate two (2) dowel pins on top of the headlamp assembly. Rotate the headlamp retainer pins until they are free of the headlamp housing. If the pins are difficult to dislodge from road dirt, the flat blade screwdriver may be useful.
