Take the wrench you used to hold the flats steady and turn the flats shaft clockwise three full revolutions. This will adjust a spring underneath, inside the wastegate valve. Hold the flats steady with one wrench and screw the lock nut back onto the valve threads. Tighten the lock nut with another wrench.
