Does Ebtech hum x work?
Works Great! I had managed to introduce a nasty ground loop hum into my chain – basically by having the amp and the power strip for the pedals plugged into one outlet. I plugged the Hum X into the outlet ahead of the power strip and presto – hum gone! This thing does exactly what it says it does!

What’s the difference between the Furman and the Ebtech?
Both the Furman and Ebtech go between the power source and amp while the Pyle is between the signal and amp.The Furman and Ebtech both did nothing at all to the line noise as you can see. The Pyle (PHE400) did cut some of the noise but also squelched both volume and tone from the signal.
Can you use Hum X on 6 amps?
Use only on equipment with current draw of 6 amps (720 watts) or less. Not designed for 60Hz hum caused by close proximity to other equipment or cable problems. Use 1 Hum X per piece of gear. Multiple hum issues may require more than one Hum X. Not designed to get rid of cable related or guitar pickup related hum.
