This system allows you to program your garage door opener into your Jeep so that you never have to worry about losing it again. However, it’s only a convenience once it’s set up.
How do you program a jeep door opener?
Sit in your Jeep with the engine off. Press the first and third buttons on your Homelink system at the same time and hold them down for 20 seconds. The electronic vehicle information center (EVIC) will display “Clearing Channels.”.
How do you open a garage door opener?
Hold your garage door opener remote two inches away from the onboard system. Press and hold the button you wish to program on your onboard system and the open button on your remote simultaneously. Release the buttons once the indicator light on the onboard system begins flashing.
How do you turn off a Chrysler garage door opener?
Turn your Chrysler vehicle off and press and hold the two outside buttons on your onboard opener system. Release the buttons once the red indicator light begins flashing. This will erase any previous codes programmed to your system.

Select one of the three Homelink buttons to train. Your Homelink system can hold up to three garage door codes. Hold the garage door remote 1 to 3 inches away from your EVIC, and press the selected Homelink button and the garage door remote button simultaneously. The EVIC will display “Training.”
Can you use a craftsman garage door opener on a 2015 Jeep?
Just did our 2015 Limited with brand new Liftmaster opener without issue. Just followed the instructions in the Jeep owner’s manual. Not as complicated as it looks. Did the same with an older Craftsman opener. If you have a learn button on the opener’s wall switch plate, don’t use it for this.
