EVO yes twin cam no. The lifter is the same inside as a stock one it just has a better roller but why ?? I even took a few apart to see what the big deal was.

The motor is basically still solid. The only mods to the engine was the stage one stuff I did when I first bought the bike (new). It doesn’t burn any more oil now then when it was new. I am a fairly smooth rider, and the bike has had the proper maintenance over it’s life.

How do you install a Harley Davidson engine?
Use a flat jack/scissor jack positioned under the cradle of the frame with a block of wood. Once the Harley engine is in position, this will aid you in maneuvering the motor so that the motor mounts can be correctly aligned. Loosely install the front motor mount bolts with spacers properly orientated. Then loosely install the top motor mount.
