Can you bypass Honda hiss system?
As for bypassing the HISS : A locksmith (or whoever else) expert on immobilizer systems ,cracking ECU’s and altering speedometer readings can help you. A honda dealer can also help you if he knows what to do.
What does Honda Hiss do?
H.I.S.S. is an electronic anti-theft device (called an immobilizer) that automatically disables the starting of the engine by means of electronic control. Stop and get off the bike, remove the ignition key – and from that moment on H.I.S.S. begins to work… an effective amulet to ward off theft.
How do I turn off hiss?
To remove HISS, you need to flash the ECU to disable the immobilizer/HISS. Or get US ECU which doesn’t have HISS but I think has different plug. Alternatively there is a way to keep the HISS receiver (the ring with HISS on top of your key) and tape the original key to it and hide it somewhere in the bike.

How do I know if my bike has an immobiliser?
look closely at the key and the ignition cylinder. it’s very different. also notice the dash has a red light and key symbol. if you don’t have both of these your bike doesn’t have the immobilizer system.
Can you reset the Hiss on a Honda CBR XX?
You can’t reset the HISS. All the HISS does is take note of the code from a specific key. You can make it recognise up to four keys but you need to have one of those keys first to be able to get into the system to add another key. If you don’t have any key that works then you will have to replace the ECU and key with a new matched set.

If anyone is interested the Honda tool part number is 07XMZ-MBW0101. You will need 1 working ignition key to do this. The tool is basically a set of leads that runs from your battery to your CKP sensor electrical connector.
Can a hiss system be switched off on a Honda?
Also the HISS system is the only one where the owner is denied the option of switching off. Pretty common. Bill for the same on a few year old Ducati is rather more (and Ducati spares are probably cheaper than Honda spares), and it cannot be switched off either.
