Jaguar OEM bluetooth didn’t start till 55 plate 06MY. Unless retrofitted. Yours being a 54 plate, 99% chance you haven’t got bluetooth. I managed to add Jaguar OEM bluetooth and voice to my car for £150 all in, can be done.

Hi im not sure if im in the right place, i bought an xtype on a 54plate and my mobile phone is a Nokia 79N, can anyone tell me how to pair this phone to the car ive got the bluetooth on but the screen on the radio is saying NO PHONE.

Last night I drove the car in the dark for the first time and it was evident that the lower screen (clock/phone display) was noticeably dimmer than the top screen, so much so that the content was difficult to read even when adjusted to full brightness. I wonder if these two issues could be connected?
