Why does my HDI turn but won’t start?

After changing the injector seals and fuel priming pump (and associated hoses) the van will not start. The engine turns over fine and the starter motor is brand new, after the old one failed after trying to start the engine. Fuel system primed for several hours, even using an electric pump. Fuel filter checked, was only replaced 2 months ago.

Where does the HDI plug in on a car?

They plug in to the vehicle just above the fuse box behind the dash. There are so many sensors on modern engines you can’t really get away without one. 14-10-2012, 05:42 AM (This post was last modified: 14-10-2012, 05:43 AM by viking20 .)
