Mercedes A Class ECU & Air Mass/Flow Meter This ECU is a very common fault for the Mercedes A Class, it causes the engine management light to come on and fault code for the Air Mass/Flow Meter to be stored in the ECU’s memory. This fault can cause the engine to run rough and idle poorly.

Where are ignition coils located on a C200?

The ignition coils are located on bracket/s under the inlet manifold- fiddley to get at but not impossible. That electrical connector you refer to is a air inlet temperature thermistor- You remove it by squeezing in both sides of the connector which disengages the small locating catches on either sideallowing you to pull it back .
