Why wont my harley turn over?

Why wont my harley turn over?

If the engine doesn’t crank, it could be because of a failure at any of those stages, a weak battery, or a bad starter. If the motor cranks and still won’t start, then it is likely a fuel or spark issue. A few tests can be performed to quickly track down the problem.

How do you turn off the ignition on a Harley Davidson?

Turn the ignition switch on-off-on-off-on quickly. With a proximity fob system, press the left turn signal switch three times and the right turn signal switch once. The blinkers will flash and the PIN should appear in the odometer window.

Why is my hazard light not working on my Harley?

Check the hazard light box and make sure all signal wires are attached. Check the flasher for functionality (turn signal relay). The wiring for the turn signal lights goes through the turn signal switch. This means that the turn signal switch may be bad. If only one light (or one side) isn’t working, check the power to the bulb plug-in connections.

Why are my turn signals not flashing on my Harley Davidson?

If you are stuck with having to manually cancel the turn signals, the problem could be found in connectivity to the speedometer or the TSSM. Check the switches. Check for loose or disconnected wires to the speedometer. Check the tip switch that cancels if the bike falls over.

Why is my Harley Davidson Ultra Classic not starting?

I have a 2010 ultra classic with ABS. It is not starting. The battery voltage is 12.75 off the battery. When I turn the main switch on, I get a drop to 12.5, and when the kill switch is turned on, I get a drop to 12.38. The self test goes out and hit the start switch with nothing – no volt drop, no starter engage, no nothing. DEAD.
