Why is my XJ8 battery still pulling 4amps?
To be fair, the guy seemed to know what he was doing and his way around Jags. Found the faulty circuit/network/wossname as the heated screen which was pulling 4amps, took the fuse out and it was down to about 0.6 which he reckoned was still a bit high.

When does ABS failure reset in a car?
The failure always resets overnight and never occurs when the car is first started in the morning. We got the car to the dealer once when the failure was occurring (because ABS codes are not stored in the ECM), and they said the ABS code indicated failure of the ABS module ($1,300.00).
When does ABS / stability control failure usually occur?
The failure tends to occur after the car has been driven on a hot day, then stopped for about one-half hour, parked in the sun, and restarted.
