There are huge amount of variables to get stop start working, you need a fully charged battery which takes a few motorway journeys to get there, a fully warmed engine. Pretty much comes down to having your car on for a long time. Mine took a week to start working as it was sat at the dealership for a month.

I’m afraid Kia ISG system is very poor It’s much better in the summer (mine works most of the time so long as I don’t do too many short runs) but deactivates in about November – it kind of hibernates I guess….
