Never had any troubles. I have swaped batteries, a relay, fuses and selenoid from one sled to other and nothing. I took a test light from battery ground to orange/black stripe wire on selenoid and hit start button and it turned over. Ok, so when you did that did you press the start button or did it just turn over once you touched the wire?

Hoping for a little help here i have a 2003 Ski Doo MXZ 800 that i just replaced the CDI Box on, my sled still will not start i was wondering if anyone knew what else it could be to maybe help save me from spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on taking into the shop. Is there a problem with my Ski Doo sled?
I own a used 2005 MXZ RENEGADE 600 HO SDI. I have been having difficulty in the past few weeks with trying to start my sled. When I would try to pull over the machine, it would run for about 5 seconds tops and then shut off. Numerous times i tried this and no success.

Where is the start / stop switch on a Sea Doo ski?
The Start/Stop switch is NORMALLY an OPEN circuit switch…pressing it closes the circuit. Black wire is ground, Yellow/Red is the signal wire…goes to the MPEM, then to the solenoid to bridge the posts and try to start the ski.
