Ha Ha. When you hot wired the switch did you check for voltage at the hub acuator to make sure that the current was getting to the hubs. If the current is getting there and they aren’t working, the problem could be the magnetic acuators are faulty or not properly grounded.

What was the damage to a 1994 Polaris Sportsman?

The front drive sprocket enclosed bearing blew when driving with 2 people up a steep hill in 4wd low, the back disc brake calipers are broken (hit a rock and busted the mounts, need to reweld them), the electrical is no longer working (HELP!), and the rear swingarm is busted (broke one of the hinges).
