Why is my hot water heater not blowing hot?
Its possible the heater core is plugged. Check the hoses going into it, they both should be close to the same temp, with the inlet being very hot. If the inlet is hot and the outlet cool, heater core is plugged. You have 2 choices, replace it or remove the hoses, blow it out, fill it up with CLR< let it soak for an hour and backflush.
