Why is my car water temperature low?
Reasons the Temperature Gauge Reads Cold On most vehicles, the temperature gauge reads cold until the engine has run for a few minutes. With the thermostat stuck open, the engine can be overcooled, causing a low temperature reading. If this is the case, the thermostat may need to be replaced.

Why is the temperature gauge pinned hot on my Honda?
Cut repair costs, not quality. Since you are experiencing no overheating problems the most likely cause is that the engine coolant temperature sending unit is faulty. This sends a signal directly to the dashboard gauge. There is another coolant temperature sensor close by which sends a signal to the ECU to help in engine management.
How to test the temperature on a Honda?
Not quite certain if my figures are correct , but to test the sending unit, disconnect the single wire black connector and using a DMM (Digital Multimeter – Ohmmeter function) measure the resistance between the sending unit terminal and earth (or ground – the engine block will be earthed).
How can I tell if my coolant temperature sensor is bad?
To diagnose the coolant temperature sensor, you need a repair manual for your car model to find what measurement values you should expect from the coolant temperature sensor. Connect an OBD2 Scanner and look for related trouble codes. Check the live data to see the temperature from the sensor.

What was the problem with my Honda Accord in 2007?
Answering the original question, how to fix cold air or hot air coming out of vents, even when the setting is the opposite. I had the problem on my ’07 Accord, dual temp controls in the EX-L. The problem is with the “air doors” that control the hot/cold air mix flowing into the cabin.
