Why is my 07 Mitsubishi Triton Speedo not working?
Hi guys. Took my triton for a detail to sell, and when i picked it up the speedo wasn’t working. Checked the sensor and it seems to be fine and the connections in the back of the cluster are all plugged in properly. Is there anywhere else to check. Have not yet tested the signal at the cluster but intend to do that as soon as i get a chance.
What are the standard features of a Mitsubishi Triton?
Standard in the Triton GLX ADAS, GLX+, GLX-R, GLS and GSR Double Cab models, headlights will automatically illuminate in fading light or when you’re travelling through a tunnel. Mitsubishi Motors’ Multi Around Monitor provides a 360° bird’s eye view of your car.
What kind of engine does a Triton have?
Triton’s 2.4L MIVEC turbo diesel engine might not weigh much but it’s no lightweight in the performance stakes, with 133kW at 3500 rpm and a stump-pulling 430Nm at 2500 rpm giving you the grunt you need, when you need it. Take control in any driving conditions with Triton’s 6 speed manual gearbox.
How many wire does a Triton Speedo have?
Most have three wires, one is a 12volt feed, one is a ground and the third is the signal wire. This wire is usually only 5volts and is grounded and ungrounded by the sensor in precise timing intervals as the sensor rotates.
What’s the name of the new Mitsubishi Triton?
Changes to the exterior styling are notable, though the pick-up carries over most of the interior elements from the previous model. A new variant, named ‘Quest’ has recently been added to the Triton line-up which varies a tad from the 4×2 and 4×4 versions. Considering the variety of options in each segment, choosing the right model is quite a task.
