Why does the oil pressure light come on on my Jeep Cherokee?
Recetly purchased it from a dealer. What happens is the oil pressure light comes on occassionally. This happens after the jeep is turned off and then restarted while still warm. Such as when gassing up or a quick stop. If I turn off the jeep and then turn it back on the light turns off.

Click to expand… Same issues as on my 03 grand cherokee and my Oldsmobile when i had it. Replace the oil pressure sensor/sender if you have not already. Its the culprit 9 times outta ten. Replaced the oils pressure switch and it still is having problems. It will randomly die, then the oil light comes on.
