Why does my traction control light come on and now my car?
Re: My traction control light has come on and now my car… Even though you identify the dash light as traction control check the brake and clutch pedals for switches. The car makers design the car to not start if it can not tell if your foot is on the brake or clutch.

What to do if traction control does not work?
Been to 2 seperate renault dealers who cannot fix the issue (say they dont know what the problem is). Issue sometimes disappears if you turn the car off and walk away for a couple hours but not always. Any help is appreciated. Did you leave any electrics or the ignition on whilst you took the call ?
When does traction control on, Clio does not start?
Upon returning after maybe 30 mins / 1 Hour the car does not start. The electronics work but upon trying to crank over, the message on the dash says ‘Traction Control On’ then turns off. This can happen once, twice… p to maybe 15/20 attempts.

When leaving my car idle for maybe 20/30 mins just while i take a call etc roadside with the engine off i then go to start the car and it fails to start and says Traction control on. MPH gauge flutters very minimally and then electrics turn off. Does not sound like engine cranks up at all.
