Why does my tire make a noise when I slow down?
The unbalanced tread depths cause tires to emit loud noises while driving. Usually, you’ll hear sounds caused by uneven wear coming from one tire. Alignment issues can also cause tire noises. A bad wheel bearing is one of the more serious issues that cause tire noise.

Be aware that as with all tire noise you can never be 100% certain that the noise is a tire problem. Rubbing noises, in particular, can indicate that your wheel is moving on the hub, or that there are issues with your wheel bearings or brakes or some other issue.
