well my scenic 1.6 16v was stalling at start up on cold days and almost at junctions, garage replaced the idle air valve. problem solved. now idles just above the 750 rpm mark and never dips below it. cold starts are fine now too. Starting problem solved!

Where is the main starter wire on a megane?

Between the 2 smaller fuses at the battery is a larger fuse that might be a power feed for the main starter wire. There is also a smaller 25A fuse in the engine bay fusebox for the sarter circuit. Many people have found this to have blown. Thanks for the reply.
