Why does my Peugeot have an anti pollution code?
I did some digging elsewhere Eurovan site i think mainly and came across someone else with a recurring anti pollution when they booted it. Turned out they had this P1425 code also. Seems this is actually caused by the differential pressure sensor being faulty. A common fault by all accounts. I got one from Peugeot at around �40 inc VAT. Fitted it.
How did I Fix my HDi 110 anti pollution fault?
Cleaned the rust , put a washer under the sensor so it san within a hairs distance from the wheel and the fault went. The clean diesel filter degenerated to anti pollution and limp mode!!! I checked the hoses at the pressure sensor end and all were clear. I ruled our the sensor as it was new 6 months ago but bought one as a just in case .

The engine light came on with anti pollution fault on the display. I have filled it with BP unleaded and took it to the motorway. After 5-10 miles parked the car and started the engine again and the error message was gone.

Didn’t think much of it and have continued driving it around for the month but the message appears every time i turn the ignition on.
What to do if your Peugeot 308 has a pollution problem?
Before throwing loads of money and parts at this,I would suggest you change the fuel fillter.Get a genuine or top quality part,not one of those happy shopper products.I had the exact same problem on a 307 and a new filter fixed it.
