Why does my Jeep Wrangler have a low speed wiper?

Why does my Jeep Wrangler have a low speed wiper?

When the Low position of the right multi-function switch control stalk is selected, the Low mode cir- cuitry within the switch directs battery current to the low speed brush of the front wiper motor, which causes the front wipers to cycle at a low speed.

What to do when front wiper won’t turn on?

Turn the ignition switch to the On position. Check for battery voltage at the fused ignition switch output (run-acc) circuit cavity of the body wire harness connector for the front wiper motor. If OK, go to Step 8. If not OK, repair the open fused ignition switch output (run-acc) circuit between the front wiper motor and the fuse block as required.

Why are the wiper blades not in the down position?

If the wiper blades are not in the down position on the windshield at the moment the Off position is selected, the park switch is closed to battery current through the fused ignition switch output (run-acc) circuit of the front wiper motor.

Why do my windshield wipers keep coming on and off?

Faulty Switch: This is the switch that’s activated when you turn the wipers on and off, and it has lots of complex internal circuitry inside. Sometimes one or more of these circuits fails in a way that causes the wipers to stay on, often in low or intermittent mode.
