Why does my Jeep WK have gate ajar warning?
Hi– I am having the same problem with both my 2010 kk and wk so I assume that they share the same part. The gate ajar warning comes on intermittently when the tailgate is closed on both jeeps and the interior lights come on. The rear window won’t open and if the jeep is parked the alarm goes off. Eventually it goes away.
Why does the tailgate light not come on on Jeep Liberty?
The only issue is the tailgate ajar light won’t come in if the gate really is ajar and the interior lights don’t come on when you open the tailgate, although you just need to hit unlock on the key fob to take care of that. The issue seems to have gone away on the Liberty on its own. 2016 Jeep Compass tailgate light in dashboard will not go out.

Why is my lift gate open on my Grand Cherokee?

Yesterday, I thought I was going crazy or maybe someone was messing with me. I’m sitting in the living room and my alarm goes off. I thought maybe I set off the panic but my keys were nowhere close to me to sit on and when I did set off the panic it was a totally different alarm.
