Why does my Jeep Grand Cherokee have no sound?
This morning no sound was coming out of radio. Pulled out fuse 71, inserted back and everything went back to normal. just saw this after going crazy for 2 days with the same no sound issues. Pulled the fuse and put it back in and sound is back. Thanks!!!! It’s so great when the fix is simple, quick and free!
What kind of radio does a 2012 Laredo have?
For the second time in 1000 miles I started my 2012 Laredo and had no sound from my radio. It is am fm single cd with sirius. Dont have the option code because im at work right now. I can turn it on and off and change stations but there is no sound and no response from the steering wheel volume control or the radio knob.

Is the radio still working on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
The radio still works, it’s just that the cd player option is not there anymore. Don’t recall seeing anyone post about that problem before; it’s always the radio code that’s needed. You could try finding and pulling the fuse for the CD player and see it that resets it. sound like your problem did you find a cure? Hey!

The CD player will take and eject a cd but will not play it. it will not switch tracks. the clock is on and working fine. Very weird… I have been through the obivous… knob is in the on position, fuses are all good….
