Why does my Honda Accord make a rattle noise?
The noise is not from the power steering cause the drive belt was not on, i don’t k ow aboy tge sensor how could got demage, the marks looked aling but like say it cut be off, the car runs fine no misfire. The 341 is either the pulse ring on the far end of the cam or the sensor that reads it or the marks are off.

With the timing chain tensioner no longer keeping the chain at constant tension a skipped or broken chain is just a question of time. This is mechanical fact, whether the interwebs have beaten it to death or not. If your VTC actuator is making noise, get it repaired period.
