Why does my fuel pump not shut down?
2) Fuel pump won’t shut off the instant the battery cable is connected, maintains 35 psi and Jeep will start and run, but when I key-off the fuel pump continues to run. These 2 scenarios are dependent on which new “fuel pump relay” i have installed. I haven’t messed with the “auto-shutdown” relay yet.

Where does the auto shut down relay get power?
The auto shut down (ASD) relay gets power from fuse #6 (15 Amp) and fuse #15 (30 Amp) of the Power Distribution Center (PDC). The PCM activates the ASD relay and the fuel pump relay at the exact same time and thru’ the same circuit (PNK wire).

What to do if your fuel pump relay stops working?
Connect one lead to one of the power circuit pins, and connect the other lead to the other power terminal. If you hear a beeping sound, your fuel pump relay’s power pins have shorted.
