Before you ground it i feeling it has something to do with ign or headlamp wires or ground any suggestions The yellow wire w/green tracer should only be +12 volts to your fuel pump. Has nothing to do with spark or ignition. Powering your fuel pump directly from your battery will not alter fuel delivery or mixture.
