Why does my 4Runner shake?
Any unusual shaking or vibrating forces coming from the engine is cause for concern. When an unbalanced tire hits a resonance frequency with the rest of the truck, that’s when a vibe shows up. It can be pretty random (ie. various speeds). It can even be intermittent. You feel it for 100 feet and it goes away for 100 feet, but that’s typically at higher speeds.
Why does my steering wheel shake when I brake?
The whole front end would shake back and forth upon braking. Normally with warped rotors you will feel the brake pedal pulsing and feel the shake come through the steering wheel. The worse the rotors warp the more the pulsing and shaking. Mine was more of a side to side shaking.
Why does my Toyota New Balance shake so much?
Most of the time right around 58mph. I thought that the plasti-dip may have cause the balance of the wheels to be off so I had them balanced by a 3rd party as the service dept made a mistake and told me that balancing was not part of toyota care. I drove on the new balance for about 2 days and the shake came back.
