Why does a green key light mean?
Immobilizer indicator (green): his little key-shaped light indicates that the immobilizer system can’t recognize the information from your key fob.
Why does the Green immobilizer light not go off?
My 04 MDX sat for maybe 2 months and the battery drained. When connected to a jump starter it cranks but won’t start. I notice that the green immobilizer key light on the dash blinks and doesn’t go off (both during cranking and the II position).

What to do if you lose your immobilizer key?
Immobilizer System If the system repeatedly does not recognize the coding of your key, contact your dealer. Do not attempt to alter this system or add other devices to it. Electrical problems could result that may make your vehicle undriveable. If you have lost your key and cannot start your engine, contact your dealer.
