Why are the seats not moving on my Jeep Grand Cherokee?
The seat should not move when you press the set button. Possibly the 1-2-set switch is faulty. Customer: The 1 & 2 are on different settings and when pushed they change the positions, it just won’t lock in new settings. Matt Hardy : OK, I’m out of ideas on this one. Matt Hardy : Try a “cap-discharge” to reset all the computers on the Jeep. Disconnect both battery cables from the battery. Then, connect the 2 cables together for 10 minutes. This will clear all the memories and remove any lingering charge. Then, reconnect the battery and retest the memory system.
