Why are the locks on my car not working?

That…. very common on Jazz. I changed one on my friends, then he sold it, just before the other 3 failed i recon. If you do get it fixed, bypass the dealer and go to any mechanic or panelbeater. Should be able to change all 4 actuators (central locking motor in old school language) in 1 to 1.5 hrs but they might wanna charge 30 mins a door.

Also when you get the actuators or whole locking mechanism replaced, they don’t seem to last that long either. $300 to $400 seems to be the going rate, if it is actuator might be cheaper to order the part yourself and fit it. Should be able to change all 4 actuators (central locking motor in old school language) in 1 to 1.5 hrs but they might wanna charge 30 mins a door. Avoid dealer rates when theres no benefit to having it done at a dealer.
